The Storming of Marrowbrook Castle (Phoenix City Chronicles)

   Our heroes arrived to find Marrowbrook Castle just as forbidding as the stories had said. However, those rural storytellers could have scarcely imagined the magnitude with which the castle's own chilling malevolence gripped one on the inside and slowly strangled them with despair; even with their steely resolve, the adventurers found themselves more solemn than usual.

Guarding the entrance to the castle were a retinue of ten skeletal soldiers, all poised like statues at the ready to mercilessly slaughter any foolish enough to try and pass them.

"Well, at least we don't have to worry about looking for the guards," Burk smiled nervously.



"Let's do this," Knuckles grunted, leading the charge!

"Hai," Tal flared a dark blue aura as he walked behind them with Burk, "Allow this evil to spread any farther, we cannot. Dealt with swiftly, it must be, so as to better get the rot by the root."
