Dismounting from his steed, Sir Laus walked over to the fallen warrior and, looking him over, saluted once more, "You barely broke a sweat, even as I knocked the wind from you. Truly, a worthy foe."

Bending down, the knight laid his hands on Korg and, glowing brilliantly for but a moment, returned the man to his former health.

Mia dropped her hands and walked over to where Laus was standing. Her hands still glowed slightly. She looked down at Korg. "What was falling off a bridge like? I've never done it myself but..." Mia shrugged.

After gaining consciousness, Korg stands up and says, " I've done it before, but not a bad place for one." Korg then looks to Laus and says, "Well, your just as strong as they say, I'll have to try harder next time."

"I'd like that," Sir Laus smiled and extended his hand to shake that of a formidable adversary, "Incidentally, we were just going to Nowhere. Would you care to come along?"

Taking off his brass knuckles, slipping them in his pocket, he shakes Laus hand and says with a smile, "Sure why not?"

Mia smiled as she strode next to the two men. Many thoughts ran through her head. She hummed. "I'm surprised you saved him." Mia mumbled.

"He's a brave man and a good fighter," Sir Laus looked to Korg as he answered, "They're getting rare, but don't take my word for it; you'll see that for yourself at this evening's match."

Korg looks back to Mia and says, "He has a point, it's been getting worse as of late."

"Oh really?" Mia looked up from her thoughts. "Thats a scary thought. I really don't like to fight unless I have to." Mia crossed her arms in what looked like a pout.

Korg says, without even looking at Mia, "Well, here you don't have much choice, it's either fight or die, so you don't have very many options." With that, Korg slips his brass knuckles back on.

Mia sighed. "I can fight I just don't like it." She groaned. "I wish I could just serve someone. It wold be better than fighting to keep my life."

"The code I follow, that of Chivalry, elevates a woman to something worth protecting," Sir Laus noted as he walked alongside them, horse in tow, "But we also observe fealty to a master, as in the case of serf and king."

Moving to the front of the group, Laus drew his horse around and smiled softly to Mia, "If a master is truly what you desire, you'll find none kinder in this place; I accept your earlier offer and take you as my servant."

Mia tipped her head and smiled brightly. "Your wish is my command, master."

Korg just rasies an eyebrow, saying nothing.

Down below, the voices of the fellow gladiators could be heard as they gathered around a campfire, drinking and laughing and otherwise making merry.



"Sir Laus!," several cheered up as our heroes came into view.

"Come on down!," one in particular laughed as a dog licked his nose, "Join the party!"



"Seems you found a friend, Jasc," Laus chuckled, "I'll be down in a bit then."

With that, he looked to Mia, making sure she was alright with this.

Mia nodded. "Sure. You don't have to check with me. I'm not your master, your mine."

"Heh," Laus smirked a bit at her feisty demeanor before putting the fear of god back into her as they leaped from the wall to a series of rocks below, eventually landing on the ground with the thud of hooves and the labored breaths of a horse built for battle.

Korg says, "Might as well." With that, he follows Laus down.

"Looks like Sir Knight's made a few friends," Jasc laughed, shoving the dog off him only to have it jump back up to the laughter of those gathered around him, "So aren't you gonna introduce us?"



"This is Mia, my servant," Laus put a protective arm around her before motioning to the man beside them, "And Korg, a brother in arms."

Mia smiled brightly. "Pleasure to meet you all."

Korg just smiles and says, "I have been known as Korg the Shocker."

"Yeah? Well I'm Jasc the Drunken!," Jasc cackled and fell back with a mug of ale spilling over him as he fell.

"And the dog kisser!," a woman in the group shouted with a laugh.

Mia giggled. "I like your friends, they seem...funny." She grinned. "I wonder what he would do with an illusion right about now..." Mia pondered the thought, and a faint blue glow emanated from her palms.
