The structure was laid out rather like a maze, with blocks herding him toward inevitable corridors. Soon after his initial climb over the top and the following descent, he found a strangely green colored block just big enough to be a door blocking his path. With no other exits along the gray stone walls, it would have appeared to, in fact, be the door, but for having no handles or apparent hinges. Notably, it was loose compared to the other blocks, and light shone around it.

Kage looks at the block, thinks to himself, ' Touching it would be the way she'd expect one to move it, but..' Kage smiles a bit, 'I won't have to.'

Kage then proceeds to grip his hands as he was using his sword, and in a flash, he swings at the block and a gust of air blows at the block!

To Kage's great surprise, the gust wasn't strong enough to knock out the sturdy block, but it had more than enough force to eject him up the chute he had just jumped down like a sweep out a chimney!



As the swordsman was propelled into the air by the force of his own attack, the mysterious thief leaned back against a wall with a small chuckle, "Well you can jump for a short man, I'll give you that, but let's see how you dodge!"

With that, she casually flung what appeared to be clouds of sparkling violet dust in his direction!

As Kage shoots up from the chamber, he thinks to himself, ' Well, that didn't...' He couldn't finish his thought as shurikens came flying at him, he dodged the first one, the second one got him in the shoulder, and the others he nimbly dodged, untill the last one pops out from nowhere, thinking fast, Kage spun and took the last star in around the same spot as the first one, localizing the pain in one spot, instead of it being spread all over. Kage looks at her, and smiles, seeing the stars up-close now, were dripping with something, probably posion, would do no good.

"You are good," the thief almost purred as Kage descended back down the chute, where he waited face to face with the green block again.

As Kage lands, he pulls out the shurikens from his shoulder, and puts them away, thinking, 'These could come in handy.' Kage then patches up his shoulder the best he can, and then thinks to himself, 'Hmm, my wind attack won't be much use here, don't wanna become a pincusion.'

With that, Kage attempts to push the block in, hoping that something wouldn't go wrong here.

Being alert enough to check his surroundings, Kage was well aware that a giant green cube was hurtling through the air on a collision course with the wall behind and Kage was right between unless he did some fast moving!

As it happens, he was dead on. Just past the slamming block was a slope, and sure enough, a green stone ball bigger than Kage was could be seen rolling down it right at him. There was no time to dodge. No room to dodge. He'd have to go straight through this one.

Just as he was wondering if the Kaze style that had failed him moments before could possibly repel such an obstacle, he found the sand and dust lifting up all around to arrange itself in his hands, as if by magic, in the shape of a katana blade!

It was now or never.

Kage's magical blade knocked the boulder like a ball from a bat, sending it screaming up the slope and through wall after wall until sunlight poured down to reveal the swordmaster had, indeed, found his way out.

Having barely dodged the rock, the thief stared down the tunnel it had made in awe as her adversary came up to meet her face to face.



"I... was wrong," she stammered, eyes wide.

As Kage walks through the hole he had made, a smile forms on his face, as he walks toward the girl, standing before her, she can feel the wind gusting from him, rage clearly showing though the facial expression carved into Kage's face, and says, "Looks like I found a way out." With that, he grabs his sword and says, "Oh, one more thing, why did you take the sword in first place?"

"Your sword is the same one from the prophecy," she looked away with a blush, "The blade that can vanquish Kel Al Ba'al. I thought, surely, if I could get that blade, I could undo the damage he's done to this kindgom..."



"Sounds like you missed the point sweetheart," the Djinni Sultan's voice boomed amidst sand swirling down from the above to form his glittering body, "The blade is the key..."

"...but the wielder is the champion," the girl nodded slowly, "I'm sorry."

"Salright," the Sultan shrugged, "All kids make mistakes Kisse, and you're not a bad daughter."

"Thank you Daddy...," she scuffed her toe and flushed a bit more, "But I still need to make it right."

"Hero," she pointed to Kage, "I'm going to help you on your quest!"

Kage thought to himself, 'Daughter? Dad? so it was a setup?' After letting the winds subside, Kage says, "I take it this was a test of sorts?"
